After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he joined the National Police Agency in 1972. From 1983 to 1986, he served as First Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in France. After returning to Japan, he served as Chief of the Public Relations Division of the Metropolitan Police Department and Chief of the First Investigation Division of the Defense Bureau of the Defense Agency before being appointed Chief of Gunma Prefectural Police Headquarters in September 1994. Ayaka Doki started her own business at the age of 19 while a student at Keio University, and has experience in founding several venture companies.
While in college, she studied abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in business administration, marketing, accounting, and computer science.
After graduation, she joined the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where she worked as an analyst in the fundraising advisory business.
In 2018, she co-founded SOICO INC. and became Director and COO. She advises nearly 1,000 companies a year, from startups to listed companies, on capital policies and organizational management, specializing especially in stock options and other equity compensation plans.
In 2021, she launched a new business, “Jotory,” an introduction and education business for female outside directors, and assumed responsibility for the business. Subsequently, she was involved in the launch of human resource businesses, including introductions and skill-sharing, specializing in professional human resources, such as CFOs and outside directors.
In September 2022, she was appointed as an outside director of APRE Co., Ltd.

After graduating from university, Hirofumi Yamafuku worked mainly in the accounting and finance departments of the Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. group. He has also been involved in the introduction of a group finance system, the establishment of a foreign exchange management system to control foreign exchange risks throughout the company, the introduction of a defined contribution pension plan, and serving as a corporate auditor for five subsidiaries. He also contributed to the smooth acquisition and PMI of the acquisition of the dental materials business from Heraeus AG of Germany in 2013 as the finance leader of the M&A team. After graduating from university, Katsuyoshi Fukuda joined Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (now Mizuho Bank). He has worked overseas for a total of 15 years. He also gained a lot of experience in various market transactions such as dealing. He contributed to strengthening the company’s compliance and corporate governance.
