Ayaka Doki started her own business at the age of 19 while a student at Keio University, and has experience in founding several venture companies.
While in college, she studied abroad at the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in business administration, marketing, accounting, and computer science.
After graduation, she joined the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs, where she worked as an analyst in the fundraising advisory business.
In 2018, she co-founded SOICO INC. and became Director and COO. She advises nearly 1,000 companies a year, from startups to listed companies, on capital policies and organizational management, specializing especially in stock options and other equity compensation plans.
In 2021, she launched a new business, “Jotory,” an introduction and education business for female outside directors, and assumed responsibility for the business. Subsequently, she was involved in the launch of human resource businesses, including introductions and skill-sharing, specializing in professional human resources, such as CFOs and outside directors.
In September 2022, she was appointed as an outside director of APRE Co., Ltd.
